Go to icp.gov.ae
Navigate to Smart Services.
Click "File Validity"
Select "Passport Information" from the options.
Enter your details
Provide your passport number, country, and date of birth.
View your status
See visa type, issue date, expiry, and Emirates ID info.
Check status — Dubai only
Go to gdrfad.gov.ae
Visit the GDRFA Dubai portal.
Click "Visa Status"
Find the visa status check service.
Enter your details
Provide file/application number or passport number.
View your status
See residency status and expiry date.
What your status means
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Valid/Active | Residency is in order |
| Expired | Past expiry date — fines may be accruing |
| Cancelled | Sponsor cancelled visa — leave or change status urgently |
